We have been supporting newly arrived migrant and refugee students and their families since our establishment in 1978. Our teachers are University Graduates with a wealth of teaching experience and are proud of the excellent results achieved by our students. We provide support for students from many language backgrounds. Personal contact can be made in various languages, including: Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teo Chow, Khmer, Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Thai, Lao, and Indonesian. We invite you to join us at Cabramatta IEC and to participate in a stimulating and caring learning environment.</p> <h3><a name="course_anchor"></a>Course</h3> <p><img src="images/stud_at_comp2.jpg" width="342" height="201" align="right">We provide specialist English classes for newly arrived students of secondary age, from 11 years through to mature age students (18 + years) who wish to continue onto mainstream High School.<br> The subjects we teach are:</p> <ul> <li>English</li> <li>Computer Technology</li> <li>Science</li> <li>Maths</li> <li>Geography</li> <li> History</li> <li>Commerce</li> <li>Health</li> <li>Art</li> </ul> <p>We also offer Student Welfare Programs and an extensive range of sporting activities.</p> <h3><a name="facilities_anchor"></a>Facilities</h3> <p><img src="images/volleyball.jpg" width="328" height="150" align="right"> The I.E.C. is situated in the grounds of Cabramatta High School, in a quiet, residential area, with easy access by bus and train from many suburbs.<br> Some of our facilities include:</p> <ul> <li> Excellent teaching resources.</li> <li> Modern computer classroom with internet access for all students.</li> <li>A large library that caters for many languages. </li> <li>Lecture Theatre and Assembly Hall. </li> <li>Extensive playing fields with basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. </li> <li>After hours Homework Support Centre. </li> </ul> <h3>Enrolment</h3> <p><img src="images/ronda.jpg" width="163" height="209" align="right" alt="Head Teacher, Ronda Gaffey">We are accepting enrolments now.
